Conversations
Decide today tomorrow’s energy is the theme of the second edition of L'energia spiegata - Festival dell'Energia which is developing in two distinct parts, the first one institutional – Energy Governance – and the second more “popular”, looking straight into the future. The question we want to answer here is which energy in twenty years? The section called Conversations represents the occasion for confrontations, dialogues and divulgation on energy subject. The discussions, meant for a non specialized audience, will deal with themes such as the mix of energy sources, energetic internationalisation and geopolitics, energy saving and efficiency, sustainable mobility, innovation and research.
The programme will be divided into various kinds of events:
Lectio Magistralis
Lectio Magistralis is the opening event which aims to shape a distinguishing course for the 2009 edition of Festival. It will be dedicated to the theme Decide today tomorrow’s energy and it will be held by an authoritative representative of Italian culture world.

Summits and talk show
Summits are of primary importance for the key topics on energetic scenery: the new development and cooperation models, the strategies to create an energy policy based on renewable sources, energetic federalism and so on. During talk shows, contemporary issues on the sector will be analysed talking to the public with an easy – non-specialised – language, providing opportunities for confrontations and learning.

Meetings with...
Open meetings with personalities of the world of science, politics, economics and even of literature, art and sport to talk about energy in a fascinating and original manner and supported by a chairman or interviewer.
